Onesimus

We have a whole book about a runaway Slave

He had robbed his master, Philemon, and ran away to Rome.
We don’t know how, but he met Paul there and Paul told him about the Lord Jesus.

Onesimus believed and got saved.

Paul was in prison and Onesimus was a great help to him, but Paul sent him back to Philemon.

Paul asked Philemon not to receive him as a Slave but as a brother.
Normally a runaway slave would have been very severely punished.

Remember, God does not make any difference between rich and poor people.
All need to be saved and all are equal in his sight.
