Easter

EASTER

The word Easter is only found once in our bible (KJV) in Acts 12 v 4

The original Greek word is found in 29 places in our new testament.

In 28 places it is translate correctly as Passover and just Acts 12 v 4 has it translated as Easter.
It is better to read it as Passover.

There is no instruction in the new testament for us to have special days like Christmas or Easter.

It is good to remember the birth, life, death, burial and resurrection of the Lord Jesus.

The bible clearly shows the disciples obeyed the Lord’s command to remember Him and they did this on the first day of every week.

Sunday is the first day of the week and sometimes we call Sunday the Lord’s Day.
Sunday is the day the Lord rose from the dead.
So we do remember His resurrection every Week not just on Easter Sunday!
