What do you think of when you hear that word?
Somebody ancient who died a long time ago …. Saint Patrick or Saint Thomas or somebody else?
Well, it might surprise you to learn that in the new testament all those who are saved are saints, God’s holy ones. This is what saved people are called because God has cleansed and saved them.
Other words are used to describe those who are saved
Believers
Christians only used 3 times. – Christians are people who belong to Christ
Brethren – meaning brothers and sisters in Christ
There are many words used to describe believers.
Born again
Redeemed
Justified
Saved
Quickened – made alive
Forgiven
