Another name for Number is “The book of the wilderness”
It tells us about the preparation for the journey, how they were to travel and problems they faced along the way.
It tells us about how thy disobeyed and rebelled against God.
It also talks about many enemies they had.
At the end of the book their forty years travel is over, and they are about to enter the promised land.
